[ Mick, blearily woken up and not awake enough to be surprised (and honestly this is Very Len so would he be? Probably not), smiles. ]

Morning.

[He ends up pressing his lips against Mick's neck below his ear as he stretches out on top of him, not losing sight of what he came here to do but still allowing himself to be temporarily distracted.]

You're hard to shop for. Steal, I could do.

JEEZE I'M SORRY THIS IS LATE

Mmm.

[ He smiles, loosely wrapping his arms around Len's neck, very much enjoying the wake-up call. ]

Could say the same about you. You didn't though, did you?

TOO LATE GO AWAY I DON'T LOVE YOU ANY MORE

Wouldn't dream of it.

[Naturally he would and then some, but since Mick's a good boy, he knows better than to actually get something that way, which limits him. No million dollar art work for him to burn.]

Still, had to get you something, eh?

[pyrogue]

Are you gonna give it to me or keep teasing?

[ He should probably sit up or something, but he so very comfortable with this situation. ]

Already gave it to you. [Also dragging his teeth along his collarbone and needing only one hand to lift himself up a little so the other one can actually comfortably fit between them, so the real answer to that question is: Both.]

Got you a necklace.

[pyrogue]

[ Mick laughs. ]

Got me there. Gotta say, I love it.

[ He gives him a quick, warm kiss to the forehead. ]

You want your present?

I'm getting something? You know I want it.

[No use pretending he's not greedy. There won't be any "You didn't have to!" coming from him. Instead his fingers trace the necklace he's just given to Mick, mostly an excuse to run then along his neck and collarbone to his chest.]

I'm ready.

[pyrogue]

[ Mick shuffles a bit so he can reach underneath into the drawer beside his bed and pull out a large christmas-themed envelope.

Inside the envelope isn't a card, though, it's a newspaper article. "The Dragon arrested and taken into custody by import workout star, Mick "Heat Wave" Rory." Yes, that guy.

There's also a set of photographs of (1) Mick Rory taken by a professional photographer in his yoga gear in various... poses. ]

[Leonard opens the envelope and his eyebrows go up, because the first thing he sees is Mick's butt and while that's a nice sight, it's still unexpected. All the more motivation to take out the other contents of the envelop and take a proper look at them, quickly skimming the article.]

Oh, come on, our wedding plans make the majority report and no one's talking about this?

[There's more to be said - and a lot more appreciation of the pictures to be shown - but Leonard isn't that good with emotional talk and so he ends up with his forehead against Mick's, taking a deep breath, the word barely even audible.]

Maybe 'cause this actually happened. [ He says, wryly.

But at the quiet thanks, Mick's heart almost breaks. He responds with a small, gentle kiss and a whispered: ] You're welcome.
