[Leave it to Leonard to make his way into Mick's room and onto his bed with nary a sound, only to then crawl on top of him. Fully clothed, mind, but that doesn't keep him from getting under the covers - mainly because he know the whining that would ensue should he just pull the covers off.]
[He ends up pressing his lips against Mick's neck below his ear as he stretches out on top of him, not losing sight of what he came here to do but still allowing himself to be temporarily distracted.]
[Naturally he would and then some, but since Mick's a good boy, he knows better than to actually get something that way, which limits him. No million dollar art work for him to burn.]
Already gave it to you. [Also dragging his teeth along his collarbone and needing only one hand to lift himself up a little so the other one can actually comfortably fit between them, so the real answer to that question is: Both.]
[No use pretending he's not greedy. There won't be any "You didn't have to!" coming from him. Instead his fingers trace the necklace he's just given to Mick, mostly an excuse to run then along his neck and collarbone to his chest.]
[ Mick shuffles a bit so he can reach underneath into the drawer beside his bed and pull out a large christmas-themed envelope.
Inside the envelope isn't a card, though, it's a newspaper article. "The Dragon arrested and taken into custody by import workout star, Mick "Heat Wave" Rory." Yes, that guy.
There's also a set of photographs of (1) Mick Rory taken by a professional photographer in his yoga gear in various... poses. ]
[Leonard opens the envelope and his eyebrows go up, because the first thing he sees is Mick's butt and while that's a nice sight, it's still unexpected. All the more motivation to take out the other contents of the envelop and take a proper look at them, quickly skimming the article.]
Oh, come on, our wedding plans make the majority report and no one's talking about this?
[There's more to be said - and a lot more appreciation of the pictures to be shown - but Leonard isn't that good with emotional talk and so he ends up with his forehead against Mick's, taking a deep breath, the word barely even audible.]
[ Perhaps it's a bit old-fashioned, but the message arrives for Mick via mockingbird. Sealed closed by a wax mockingbird sigil, the letter is hand-written in careful cursive. ]
Dear, Mr. Rory -
We have not spoken before, but my name is Petyr Baelish. I serve as the ambassador for Maurtia Falls. I write to you on behalf of a project I am working on within my city. Construction has already begun on rebuilding a much larger library, but I wish for this to be more than simply a bigger structure. I hope to inspire education and the spread of knowledge to the natives of Maurtia Falls as well as provide an invaluable resource to new arrivals here. But more than that, I wish to use it to pay homage to the natives who lost their lives within Maurtia Falls due to imPort related tragedies. Their names will be honored within the library itself and donations will be set up to be made to the families.
For this project to succeed, I need your help. If you are able to donate anything at all to the cause, it would be most appreciated -- whether that is books, money, or simply your time.
I thank you for reading this, and I do hope to hear back from you soon.
Sincerely, Ambassador Petyr Baelish
[ OOC: You can feel free to just respond to this OOCly if he would donate anything or not! ]
[ Mick isn't really sure how to respond to a letter by mockingbird. Should he have told the bird to wait? Would the bird have even listened or is this a Porter power thing? And his handwriting isn't really something he takes pride in.
But this pricks his conscious in the same way that talking to Piper sometimes does, and while it isn't one of his pet causes he does manage to figure out a way to send an $100 donation that he'd normally send to various burn victim charities, with no particular commentary or sentiment attached. ]
That guy is one bad decision away from fear gassing someone's prom night, maybe don't push him. [ Mick had a good long conversation with him, and while he generally believes Crane can handle being reformed he also seemed to be on the edge about it. ]
If you're having problems, talking about it is a good step though. You just feeling antsy or is there something bothering you?
[Fear gas doesn't work on her, so she is having a hard time seeing that as a consequence. Objectively she can almost see why it's a bad thing, if she squints, but right now it sounds like a fun party.]
This place is messed up. It's not your fault. Anybody would drive themselves mad not knowing which it's going to be.
[ Mick reacted to this exact same scenario by burning down his house, which has been covered already. So he's gonna do a bit of "do as I say not as I do" advice here. ]
Keep yourself busy. Talk to people. Maybe get project, something that'll force you to keep on track.
